Hey! You've decided to delve deeper! You can find some hot chocolate and a blanket to curl up in for this one.  I know I am.

I grew up in northwest Indiana and was homeschooled all the way through high school. Which gave me plenty of time to slowly but surely get myself into further and further trouble in the crafting department. It started off simple with using all of my mom's tape and paper, then before my parents knew it, I was busting holes in my door with homemade pressure pots and melting glass in the garage.

I eventually moved on from destroying my parents' house and turned my attention to college. I'm currently a student at UNCSA studying design and production with a concentration in stage properties. I didn't destroy any of their doors, I promise. I spent a summer at Barrington Stage Company in Massachusetts where I gained experience, a splash of confidence, and gleaned as much as I could from some fantastic managers and coworkers. It was also where I first had the freedom to go on spontaneous adventures, often in the mountains. I now have the unending urge to go on more stupid and amazing adventures.

In a nutshell, I've been creating, making, and picking up various skills for as long as I can remember. Seeing peoples' visions become reality is one of the best parts of what I do. I have interest and curiosity for just about everything, and I chase after it all with a smile and sometimes too much gusto for my own good. I'm currently developing a special fascination for unique woodworking crafts. But like the typical props person, I acquire too many hobbies and interests too quickly (same with books). I love the magic and challenge of making something beautiful from unassuming materials, and if in the process I can delight someone, help an actor tell a story, or simply make someone's day just a tad better, it's all worth it.
