I was first introduced to glassworking in high school. I immediately loved the intricacy, colors, and grace of the craft. Lampworking is especially fast-paced, challenging, and fluid. You really can't be married to a specific idea of how you want a piece to turn out as the glass has a mind of its own.  I've been dabbling in the art ever since.
